I have no problem if the RNC wanted to outfit SARAH for her public appearances, but I think it's a bit much to clothe her gaggle of kids as she lugs them from town to town with her. However, if that's what they choose to do with their funds, it's OK with me since I'm not a supporter of the RNC
As RD the Entry-Level Attorney, I do not relate to her have such an "extravagent" wardrobe for this short campaign season. *thumbs down*

Well when you're losing, I guess you turn on each other...
Palin's 'going rogue,' McCain aide says
ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (CNN) -- With 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and key aides to Sen. John McCain have become so intense, they are spilling out in public, sources say.
Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue."

I read this story this morning and laughed my butt off!!
In some sick and twisted way, I actually feel sorry for John McCain. Don't ask why, but I just do. I have this weird compassion for the most random people, in the most random situations. But, that's neither here nor there....
I think that the RNC should have just selected Joe Lieberman as a VP. I'm sure they are now wishing that they would have allowed it. Sarah Palin started out as the "gut punch" that the RNC needed to deliver to the DNC, but I honestly don't think that the RNC did enough investigation into Sarah Palin. I can almost hear the conversation now:
Repub X: "What?! Obama picked who?! Not Hillary?! Oh hell yeah! We need to pick a woman to fill the void for all those women sour over Hillary being left in the cold."
Repub Y: "I agree! But who? What woman is high enough in the ranks to fill the bill?"
Repub X: "Condaleeza?
Repub Y: "Naaah. She'll never go for it."
Repub X: "What about that lady governor from Alaska?"
Repub Y: "Heeey. You know what? I think you're on to something! Yeah, that's it!"
Repub X: "How is she on foreign policy? You know, we need someone that's a match for Joe Biden."
Repub Y: "She's always talking about Russia, so I'm guessing she's pretty good."
Repub X: "Alright then. Call her up!"
Repub Y: "What are we gonna tell Joe Lieberman? I'm sure he has his hopes up that we'll pick him."
Repub X: "Awww. Joe will be OK. Once we put Sarah out there, this election will be in the bag. I hear she's like a pitbull in lipstick!"
Repub Y: "Wow! What is she? Some sort of maverick?! Boy, is this going to be the boost we need!"
And scene.... *brings down the curtains*
Sarah Palin needs to shut the hell up and sit down somewhere. She is singleheadedly destroying this election. And while the article alludes to her setting herself up to be the future face of the party, I think the opposite will occur. People will see that she is an unexperienced and crazy loose cannon, and they'll want to have nothing to do with her. She's nuts!

I voted yesterday. I went Tuesday, but the line was just outside the door. Crazy as I am, I decided to come back. Much to my chagrin, the line was longer each time I drove by. I stayed in line 1.5 hours to cast my vote.
For those of you who have voted, what was your wait time?
Now, I can stay out late on Nov. 3rd and sleep in on Nov.4th

My wait was no longer than 20 mins. I went to the Secretary of State's office around lunch time and it moved quickly. The line was kinda long, but they were checking voters in quickly and there were several voting booths. I was pleased with the process. From entering the line to returning my vote data card thingy, I'd say I was there for 30 mins.

My wait time was about 5 minutes...I was lucky because I came right after the machines were back up so there was only about three other people there voting.

Regarding the McPalin situation....that's why people need to do their research FIRST because if they had, her lack of "fundamental" knowledge would have been of no surpise. Scheming gets you no where....it will catch back up with you sooner or later...

My wait was about 20 minutes. (that was on a Saturday afternoon about 2 weeks ago.)
whoa, whoa, what is this "sleep in" you speak of? I figured you'd be out organizing car pools, helping the elderly or the growing crowd of AKA2D fans get to the polls?
sleeping in? I think not.
