ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico (CNN) -- With 10 days until Election Day, long-brewing tensions between GOP vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin and key aides to Sen. John McCain have become so intense, they are spilling out in public, sources say.
Several McCain advisers have suggested to CNN that they have become increasingly frustrated with what one aide described as Palin "going rogue."

I read this story this morning and laughed my butt off!!
In some sick and twisted way, I actually feel sorry for John McCain. Don't ask why, but I just do. I have this weird compassion for the most random people, in the most random situations. But, that's neither here nor there....
I think that the RNC should have just selected Joe Lieberman as a VP. I'm sure they are now wishing that they would have allowed it. Sarah Palin started out as the "gut punch" that the RNC needed to deliver to the DNC, but I honestly don't think that the RNC did enough investigation into Sarah Palin. I can almost hear the conversation now:
Repub X: "What?! Obama picked who?! Not Hillary?! Oh hell yeah! We need to pick a woman to fill the void for all those women sour over Hillary being left in the cold."
Repub Y: "I agree! But who? What woman is high enough in the ranks to fill the bill?"
Repub X: "Condaleeza?
Repub Y: "Naaah. She'll never go for it."
Repub X: "What about that lady governor from Alaska?"
Repub Y: "Heeey. You know what? I think you're on to something! Yeah, that's it!"
Repub X: "How is she on foreign policy? You know, we need someone that's a match for Joe Biden."
Repub Y: "She's always talking about Russia, so I'm guessing she's pretty good."
Repub X: "Alright then. Call her up!"
Repub Y: "What are we gonna tell Joe Lieberman? I'm sure he has his hopes up that we'll pick him."
Repub X: "Awww. Joe will be OK. Once we put Sarah out there, this election will be in the bag. I hear she's like a pitbull in lipstick!"
Repub Y: "Wow! What is she? Some sort of maverick?! Boy, is this going to be the boost we need!"
And scene.... *brings down the curtains*
Sarah Palin needs to shut the hell up and sit down somewhere. She is singleheadedly destroying this election. And while the article alludes to her setting herself up to be the future face of the party, I think the opposite will occur. People will see that she is an unexperienced and crazy loose cannon, and they'll want to have nothing to do with her. She's nuts!
