I dont diminish anything NPHC related and its relevance, but a class? i dont know. sounds like a gimmicky "easy A" class. and whoever is teaching it, props to them i suppose, but is this in an attempt to get field research for a dissertation?

Actually, I think this could be quite a class if you tie it into African/African American history, culture, and tradition and present theoretical topics like those in Dr. Gregory S. Parks' books (and use these books in the class):
African American Fraternities and Sororities: The Legacy and the Vision and the sequel,
Black Greek Letter Organizations in the 21st Century: Our Fight Has Just Begun .
