Here is the thing for me, what if his mother did not believe in Jesus? I thought part of the Christian faith was each person having to "work out their own soul salvation". We cannot choose our parents. Regardless of whether his parents were Christian, Muslim, humanist, etc. Obama made the decision as an ADULT to confess Christ.

You are absolutely right and it is unfortunate that my "well-informed" co-worker who is almost twice my age does not realize that....
