McCain's Going to Whip Obama's "You-Know-What"

'After I whip his you-know-what' Posted: Sunday, October 12, 2008 5:10 PM by Mark Murray From NBC/NJ's Adam Aigner-Treworgy ARLINGTON, Va. -- After doing some debate prep and satellite interviews at his campaign headquarters for most of the afternoon, McCain headed downstairs to his Virginia Victory offices to rally a group of volunteers who had been making phone calls on his behalf. He referenced recent poll numbers and the state of the race in Virginia before telling his supporters that this news should only make them want to work harder. Quote:
ETA: I give John points... without the fun Palin interviews, he's keeping the race interesting!! :) |

I spoke too soon. Palin was interviewed today after a speech she made at a rally. She was asked by a report what she thought of the decision to take North Korea off the terrorist watch list. Palin said she had all faith in Condoleezza Rice, and agreed with the actions. And in Palin's words, Bush had made a "wise decision." Well, it turns out that McCain opposes what the Bush Administration did. So, Palin's spokeswomen put this statement out... Quote:
That's some back-tracking! Don't they brief these guys? http://voices.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2008/10/12/mccain_and_palin_appear_to_dis.html |
See, I think it's ok for them to disagree on some issues. I think a VP can bring balance to a ticket if they have some differences.
Oddly though, I heard a clip from Palin after McCain made the comments at the rally about respecting Obama but having differences with him where she said that the public needs to know about his associations with terrorists, but that McCain is choosing to not address that anymore. I tried to find the clip to post a link here, and I couldn't find one anywhere. It was very weird. |
*sigh, if Obama really had "connections" like that with terrorists, wouldnt the evidence have been plastered on every newspaper, magazine, and television channel? because that is the one thing that is swaying people in this election: cold hard facts...until the McCain camp decides to share what they act like they know? i am completely ignoring it.

^^^Me too. It is just so weird because one of my co-workers made the comment that she has issues with Obama because she "heard" his mother did not believe in Jesus...ummmmmm...excuse my language but I wanted to ask her so bad "are you f*$%ing kidding me...like who in the hayle told you that and why in the hayle do you not have enough sense to VARIFY!?!?" Instead I told her I was going to walk away because I still wanted to get thru the day cordially instead of saying something really crazy....
This is like some craziness from high school---and it is really sad to see grown people (in terms of age only:cool:) believe a lot of this foolishness regardless of who you are voting for....mess is mess regardless of where it is coming from and it is sad that some people are not able to understand that. Oh well...to each his own I guess... |

Why back-track from her previous statements though? |
