Starting from scratch or start a new chapter?

Creating a brand new fraternity is a LOT of work. You have to have a very motivated core group of like minded individuals who all want to do it. Too often there are 15 people who start something like this and one who finishes.

Also, many schools do not recognize local fraternities. They prefer for all the fraternities to be affiliated w/ national groups that carry insurance for any mishaps that might occur.
