1st, thank you, Senusret I and IlovemyAKA for your responces!!!
Senusret I: I did edit my post for you!! I am sorry!!! Please forgive me! I am just so anxious!!!
IlovemyAKA: I wanted the oppertunity to become involved with promoting unity and friendship among my fellow college women. I am a junior at my school, I am a business major and I am a member of NAACP. I have always wanted to join an organization, but once I got into college I wanted to do a little more research on what each sorority on my campus had to offer as well as the organization in general. I have witnessed the increased impact one organization has had on campus life and I really want to be a part of that. I want to contribute to being a positive role model for students on campus academically as well as with the works the organization does on campus and in the community. After seeing what I wanted in one particular organization, I had to make sure I was very accurate on my history. The sisterhood is so deeply rooted, I dont plan on loosing my morals, I dont plan on sleeping with men, and I dont plan on being something I'm not. I would be happy to be a part of an organization that was built upon service and sisterhood. I have everything in order except my GPA. At my school, we need a 4.0 and I have a 3.6. If my school doesn't take a line after this semester again until my senior year, then, I will have no choice. I dont want the members to be disappointed because I did not pledge like I want to. Should I be worried about the women in the organization? Because if everything else is "on point" next year and everyone sees that...wont that be a good thing? Or will the fact that I didnt do it sooner over ride the fact.
