I tell you, the more I see this woman, the more I wonder about the reasons that McCain picked her.... I smell dirt. I can't imagine that it's really anything else. We all know he has a thing for young ditties. Guess we'll just have to wait and see why he REALLY picked her. Hope it comes out before the election. Really, there must be more to this story b/c this goes against all reason and logic. Maybe that's it. Is McCain getting senile? No, seriously. Maybe that explains it.

I just read the article (thanks for that) and I'm still confused as to what school she graduated from and what even happened with all of that. 6 years for a 4 year degree? in journalism? How can you get a degree in journalism and not keep up with world affairs? WTF? So many questions and so very few answers are leaving me confused and frustrated. Im glad im voting for Obama. If I were a republican...I'd write in Condi Rice and call it a day. LOL.
I don't know if JMac is that stupid. She isnt that cute either. There is some type of something going on. I don't think Jmac is the one who owes her. I think it might be his SR advisor chick or someone who is advising him who is in deep debt with Palin. It just doesnt add up. She's not well known even inside the party so I find it hard to believe that someone owes her. She also isnt from a family that is a political force (ie:Bush) so that cant be it either. Sex scandal isnt enough because Jmac has had those. I think they wanted the shock factor of picking a woman and they wanted an "outsider" (I think they got Lil Wayne's political equal because she is definitely talking some "Im a Martian" type stuff) and someone who "is all about change" so that they could counter the force that is Obama. They clearly wanted that image and felt that the benefit from it would out weigh the cost of her messy-ness. This kind-of makes sense. I do think they did not do a stringent enough background check. They probably checked for the basics and found the DUI and the investigation and pregnancy and figured they could cover that up and didnt go much deeper. That is probably the reason why they didnt announce her as the running mate until so late in the game. Had they announced it earlier then people would have had more time to dig up info on her. Since they waited til the last minute there is only a short amount of time for people to dig and then spread information. They figured a few months wouldnt be enough time for people to discover who she really is and it definitely wouldnt be enough time for the diggers to get the info out to the regular folks. They also dont mind her problems because after he gets elected she pretty much just disappears. President Truman had to step in after Roosevelts death and he knew nothing about what was going on. Thats how it is with most vice presidents. They dont do much of anything and are not often involved with the running of our nation. JMac is counting on Palin getting him more support and then when he is elected she will basically disappear and crawl back under the rock she came from. I in some ways agree with this thought because there are plenty of people who will not ever find out about her 6 year degree. I do think they made a huge miscalculation in this matter because they failed to address Obama's camp's extensive use of technology to spread info extremely quickly as well as the use of the internet and the media as a 24 hour non stop medium for info for regular peeps. Overall this was a horrible judgment call and I hope those McCain voters figure this out before they ruin their own lives. If they dont we might see a president impeached and removed.
