It's not very nice to stop there. Where did you find your home?
Congratulations by the way!

I'm keeping that hush hush until I am official.

Official as in officially a New Member/Pledge?
Or officially initiated as a Sister?
Is this an NPC sorority?

Maybe she didn't "get the call" so she knows she got a bid. But it isn't "official" yet becuase it has yet to be "handed " (i.e. extended) and accept the bid. Or how ever offical bidding might work at her campus.
And if she prefed only one group, then she would know which group. But again, it wouldn't be "official"... yet.

Unless there's some sort of rule that says NMs can't be depledged once given a bid, I'm not mad at her for keeping it to herself until initiation.

It's very difficult to force a NM in an NPC sorority to depledge once she's accepted a bid. The NM would pretty much have to commit murder. But if greekintraining doesn't want to share with us which sorority she's just joined, that's her prerogative.

Thanks for the clarity. I suppose I was *ass*uming that just as easily as people on GC could derail her receiving a bid, they could derail her initiation.

Actually, there are cases where the membership of the sorority decides during the NM's pledge period that they no longer think the NM is suitable for the chapter and the NM is voted out. It's rare but I've seen it happen.

I can unfortunately personally vouch for that.
