Be sure to check you national regulations. Some may have rules about making grades if they are pledged one semester and actually don't start the program until the next semester. On the campus where I advise, we usually have 2 new member classes per semester. In the fall, one from formal recruitment and then a second one, if we aren't at total. We have a set COR program so it is scheduled to end at the proper time for initiation just before the end of the semester. We do the same thing if needed spring semester - one at the beginning of the semester and one a little later to allow for initiation before the end of school. You just have to determine how many weeks you must have for the program and count back from the end of the semester to determine when that COR period should end.
