I wouldn't want a guy that goes out and gets shit-faced every single Thur-Sat, but I would be ok with a guy that goes out most weekends to have a couple beers with his guys. I can be a little bit of a music snob myself sometimes, so I wouldn't mind a guy that's a little bit of music snob, but I wouldn't want to date a HUGE music snob. | Ahhhh...same here! I would like to add spiky bangs, goatee (especially the chin patch), and chuck taylors to that look. I also go for any type of visual artist and those who write poety, I guess I have soft spot for the artistic period.

I wouldn't date anyone who doesn't like to go out. What else is there to do on nights 10pm-2am? We don't have to do it all the time, but I would like to let loose once or twice a week. As for drinking, not only mild-moderate intoxication is fun, you can learn a LOT about a person after they had a few. A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts, or however that saying goes.

I dunno, it was almost as if it wouldn't break apart. It just kept moving with his mouth. Sometimes it would be on the front of his lips. We were eating, but I had to stop. I thought I was going to gag. What is that? Gross. | Umm...toothpaste?

So you really do have to go for something sort of normal and bland.

But if it's someone trying to "impress" me, then yeah, pretty lame. (Dude who said Buffalo Wild Wings was the best restaurant ever, I'm looking at you.)

			I love this list!
My circa-'87 list included:

*smokers
*guys driving Camaros, Firebirds, etc.
*guys wearing gold chains
*GDIs

Tomorrow is my 19th wedding anniversary. I married a guy with all four, and he managed to correct the first three. And he's balding, but he's still cute.

The thing is though--the more time I spend with him, the more I find things to like about him. I have been very pleasantly surprised. He doesn't have a degree now, but he would like to finish someday, so the ambition is there. And the chewing, he doesn't do around me, so I can handle that for now (he promised to brush after!) So, I am happy I gave him a chance beyond the first date.

My friend and I were hanging out with her brother and some of his friends, and I was reminded of another dealbreaker.
guys that pee outside in a non-camping situation (e.g. drunk guy going behind a row of cars and peeing right there in the parking lot)

If I ever had to date someone who's socially conservative, never wants to go out, really ghetto, has completely different interests than mine, or is sexually uptight...I would be absolutely miserable. I'd rather live my life the way I want and be single, than to live my life in a way I despise and have a partner.

I had my first real date at an Applebee's. I was only 17, and didn't know any better, lol. I don't think that counts.

I once dated a guy who had murky eyes (but he didn't when I met him) and had jacked up teeth and a funny-shaped head. That's something I forgot to put on the list. My ex had a head like Oscar Proud's. Now, when I see a guy with a head shaped like that, he's automatically dq'd.

the spit at the corner of the mouth is called spittle, I think. It's nasty.
My list:
bad teeth
bad hygeine
no ambition
no desire to travel (I've lived overseas, visited three countries)
doesn't like kids at all
doesn't/won't try new things
doesn't like dogs
bad kisser (this is #1 for me actually)
arrogance
has a long list of things a girl he dates must have, but doesn't have those things himself, or won't consider a girl if she has one of the things on his list. shows he's shallow and close-minded, IMO
only listens to one kind of music
can't drive
extremely metrosexual
has an annoying laugh
did I say superficial?
has no relationship with his mom (assuming childhood was "normal". Mama told me when I started dating: How a guy treats his mom, is how he will treat you)
laughs at my b'day celebration and doesn't recognize it for the holiday that it is.
