where i grew up in new york, the small downtown area of a town is known as the "village". in the village area of my town, there is a burger king. two employees met there and later got married in the restaurant's dining room during the lunch hour. they didn't even close down the dining room for the ceremony. the local paper covered it and had pictures. so romantic....and trashy.
one of my good college friends got married by the Angel Oak near Charleston. it was a really pretty ceremony.
