co-sign. either she does not understand how to write a rec. or she does not want to write one. just don't mention your encounter with this member, when you find another to write the rec.
What is co-sign? Is that when an alum signs a rec letter that another alum has written? Could someone tell me the purpose of this (are the power of two alums better than one)?

She was agreeing with the other poster, not suggesting a joint letter. (If I'm reading it correctly)

Cracker Barrel is right, she was agreeing with what the other poster said when she wrote "Co-sign."

As far as two recs go, I know Chi Omega requires two alumnae signatures on the rec. Depending on the competitiveness of the school, sometimes PNMs like to secure multiple recs to each house. In most cases, though, one rec is sufficient.

And regarding "two alums being better than one" -- well, that's not really for you to know because you're treading into Membership Selection territory, and that's just private.
