I tend to agree - there are segments or units of the US Armed Forces that are very "evangelical", at least in my experience... so I can understand the harrassment and stigma that he may have experienced given some of my dealings back in the day.
However that being said he is the accuser so it's up to him to demonstrate proof that this happened, because while there are segments that are very "evangelical" there are equally very pluralistic segments as well.
