I am annoyed by the shimmy tradition.

I am annoyed at a 40+year old man with a gut trying to shimmy naked to entice me.

when he tries to do it, it invokes a range of emotions.

In his case it should be called the 'shelly', because nothing shimmies but that jelly on his gut.
