Our local APh does give scholarships.
We give 2 $400 scholarships each year, the goal is one to a woman from an NPC group on each of the two local college campuses (that have Greeks). Nonetheless, we give two each year.
Fundraising has been relatively easy since most costs have been cut with emailing and Evites--dues cover the bulk. We also host a yearly vendor's expo: everything from Pampered Chef to jewelry, etc, where the vendors give a cut to the local APh.
Some give to high school girls, others give to a girl who lives in the hometown of the APh--there are many parameters. Contact the NPC office and they should give you plenty more details as it's required information in the President's Annual Report! (start with
