Sophomore year of college, running into my then-girlfriend eating lunch (and holding hands with) her recent ex-boyfriend. Not surprisingly, within a week I was the ex-boyfriend, and he was the boyfriend. It was pretty awkward, although funny when you think about it.
Another one: I was playing summer league baseball during high school, and was in left field. It was a night game, and the lights were on. A kid hits a fly ball out to me, he got behind it pretty well, so I had to run back for it. At some point, I lost sight of it in the lights, but knew that it was somewhere near me. I stopped, stuck up my glove...and it fell right in. Some of my former teammates still tease me about that one.
