Don't agree...Italian cars are for styling, British Cars were always at the mechanic, and German Cars for engineering and performance.

From my days on the track, most guys that could afford the Ferraris and Lambos needed to take some driving lessons. They could floor the cars, but they didn't know how to turn.

...and the Maserati drivers were typically sitting in the ditch.

I couldn't agree more Benzgirl. You are 110% right.

The best looking Benz of all time though is the 1955 300SL Gullwing. I love that car.

ETA: Dr. Ferdinand Porsche is a great example of pure German engineering and performance.
