Samantha Dick . . . was one of five graduates receiving the Heminway Medal for earning the highest grade-point average during their four years at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute. She achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, earning bachelor's degrees in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering, with a minor in Japanese.
. . . Dick also received the John Tuller Royse Award as the most outstanding graduate "based on leadership, academic achievement, participation in extracurricular activities and general campus citizenship."
She has been an officer in numerous organizations, including the Delta Delta Delta sorority, the Rose-Hulman Chorus and the Biomedical Engineering Society. She was a tutor in the learning center and helped various social causes.
She will return to Rose-Hulman this fall for master's degree studies in biomedical engineering.
