More Chapter Updates and Accomplishments
Tri Delta at University of Southern California raised $11,500 for children's cancer charities. The chapter won Sigma Chi Derby Days in 2008 and also the Lambda Chi Alpha Bust 2008. A Tri Delta is Panhellenic President.
Kara was selected as one of the famous SC Song Girls. The chapter is proud 15 members have a 3.75 or above GPA. Theta Xi at SC received the Award for Sorority Excellence. West Georgia DDDs have been busy. The chapter was the Greek Week Philanthropic winner. UWG Beautiful Mind 2007-2008, UWG Distinguished Leader 2007-2008, Twenty members made the Dean's List, Second highest spring 2007 GPA, Chi Phi Sweetheart, Kappa Sigma Sweetheat and Elaine Rudolf Award. S.F Austin DDDs were 2007 Greek Week Champions, Sigma Chi Derby Champions, 2007 Driving Jacks Champions, Miss Greek 2008, Homecoming Duchess, Homecoming Chairman for 2008 and 1st Place Homecoming Float. University of California at San Diego DDDs received some Panhellenic awards this spring. A Tri Delta was the Panhellenic Woman of the Year, 2nd place award for Alumnae Affairs, 1st place for Greek Community Involvement, New Member Education, 2nd place. Also awarded was Sisterhood 3rd place and 2nd place Individual Award for Chapter Service. Univ. of Texas at Arlington received the Most Outstanding Chapter honor, Gold Star Greek Chapter, Best Administration, Best Recruitment, Most Outstanding Active. Also DDDs were selected for Pike Dreamgirl and BDB Princess. In sports they were first in flag football and dodgeball. |
Tri Delts (Theta Nu) at WSU won 2007-2008 Homecoming with SigEps. It was the first time any Greeks had beaten the Dorms in something like 10 years!

NU Chapter Tridelts are 2008 Derby Days Champs! Most Service Hours of all 14 sororities, and raised 1,500$ for St. Jude Winter 08 quarter.

Dartmouth: A Tri Delta is One of the Co-Valedictorians

"Most Outstanding Graduate" -- A Rose-Hulman Tri Delta
http://www.redorbit.com/news/educati...so_ball_state/ Excerpts: Samantha Dick . . . was one of five graduates receiving the Heminway Medal for earning the highest grade-point average during their four years at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute. She achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA, earning bachelor's degrees in biomedical engineering and mechanical engineering, with a minor in Japanese. . . . Dick also received the John Tuller Royse Award as the most outstanding graduate "based on leadership, academic achievement, participation in extracurricular activities and general campus citizenship." She has been an officer in numerous organizations, including the Delta Delta Delta sorority, the Rose-Hulman Chorus and the Biomedical Engineering Society. She was a tutor in the learning center and helped various social causes. She will return to Rose-Hulman this fall for master's degree studies in biomedical engineering. |
Omega Delta made quota (29) last week and with the addition of 3 women through informal, we have a new member class of 32 women so far! :D :D
