Of course things can be interpreted differently. But simply showing what she said is not a "smear campaign," at least in my opinion. She put herself out there, and now she's having to answer the questions. If she wants to be a demure first lady who stays out of the spot light, then maybe I'll have some sympathy. But she's a political figure now, just like any other Obama spokesperson.
