I will be so bold as to assume this thread is open for everyone.
I used to volunteer with the humane society as a pet therapist. I took puppies to a children's home and used the dogs to help them talk about their behavior problems. The difference it makes with the kids is amazing because mostly they just need to talk their feelings out--and you can't really clam up when something warm and fuzzy is trying to lick your ears.
I moved to a new city, but I'm in the process of being placed with a new facility because it was honestly one of most rewarding things I've ever done.
