Hello,

I was just wondering what exactly would you say is your favorite community service project? What community service act ignites your passion and allows for you to continue to be excited about working in the community.

Hopefully I did not say anything that is inappropriate.

My favorite is tutoring. I did it while I was in college and I am considering teaching as a second career. I am currently concentrating on my own children but I love working with others.

Working with high school students to understand that college/higher education is so attainable and assisting them get there..especially when they thought they couldn't..

I will be so bold as to assume this thread is open for everyone. ;)

I used to volunteer with the humane society as a pet therapist. I took puppies to a children's home and used the dogs to help them talk about their behavior problems. The difference it makes with the kids is amazing because mostly they just need to talk their feelings out--and you can't really clam up when something warm and fuzzy is trying to lick your ears. :) I moved to a new city, but I'm in the process of being placed with a new facility because it was honestly one of most rewarding things I've ever done.
