I hope he will have a full recovery. Mass General is an EXCELLENT facility--so I hope the "Harvard Educated" residents and physicians will figure out the best course of treatment.

Apparently, he had a "seizure" vs. a "stroke". The seizure are the nerves and the stroke are the blood vessels. Apparently, sometimes they work together to cause the same problem--brain attack/stroke.

Exactly - not a bad place to have a situation, where you have Mass General and Brigham (where I used to work, and had my heart procedure) right there. Mass General also has an incredible area for big donors and VIP patients, so he'll be resting well.

Apparently he's been communicating with a team of Mass General doctors for years, with all the medical problems that have been springing up for him lately. That's where they figured out he needed surgery on his carotid in the fall, and maybe it made a difference today.
