You can check her out further here, www.katevoegele.com. Her sound is similar to Michelle Branch.

Pardon the crash, but I love love love Kate Voegele. If I'm not mistaken, she was the first artist signed to MySpace Music and was on One Tree Hill recently. She played a singer "discovered" by Peyton's new record label.

"Kindly Unspoken" is a favorite!

...also, isn't this chapter at Miami (Ohio) ADqtPiMel's sister's chapter?

Yup, she's in my sister's chapter. Kate sang at pref the year my sister went through recruitment - how cool is that? The chapter is very supportive of her, my mom (also a Theta) and sister and I went to one of her shows and almost their entire chapter of around 150 girls was there.

I met Kate when she went through recruitment (I was a junior), and honestly she's just about the nicest person I've ever met - genuinely interested in meeting everyone and very down to earth. She was already famous around Miami, but I never sensed even a shred of an attitude or entitlement. She was also friendly with some of the fraternity guys I lived with so we had several impromptu Friday night concerts in our front yard. Y'all should be proud to call her a sister.
