even though i now hate and am sooo scared of cats.... when i was younger my next door neighbor's cat had kittens. I thought they were sooo cute and wanted one so bad! My mom dislikes cats so she said i could have one but he would have to live outside, so i got a kitten. Well my house was the last one on the street and we had a big tree next to us. Well turns out, a lot of mockingbirds lived in that tree. Everytime my poor kitty would walk in front of that tree, the mockingbirds would go and peck on him!
One day we walked out and there were pieces of his fur on our lawn and we never ever saw him again!
it was such a sad time, so we either figured the birds pecked him to death or he left, but im pretty sure the birds did it. Although its a sad story people laugh when i tell them because they dont think a bird could kill a cat, but it was still a kitten so i believe it!
