my cat is missing
i am so upset.
one of my little cats ran out the door today. the door wasn't shut all the way and she must have ran out.
we've scoured the neighborhood and put up missing posters. i don't even know what else to do. i keep thinking of all of the bad things that could happen.
she used to live outside 2 years ago before we took her in but she hasn't been out since. she's been missing for about 5 hours and there's no sign of her.
just keep her in your hearts for me.

I'm so sorry to hear that your cat is missing cash78mere. I know how awful I felt after my favorite cat ran away a few years ago. I cried and cried and cried. Hopefully she'll return home soon!!!!!!

Cash, I'm sending you and kitty my best wishes. Maybe put an open can of tuna on your front porch? She's bound to get hungry and she knows where home is so maybe that will entice her to show up.
I hope everything works out!

Oh, dear! I will keep my fingers crossed for you...I would be beside myself if one of my pets escaped.
Killarney's idea is an excellent one. If she doesn't come back in a few days, take her picture to the pound and the Humane Society. Maybe she will already be there, or, if someone brings her in the staff will recognize her.
I really hope she comes home soon.

Cookie has been spotted twice!
she is somewhere in one of our neighbor's yards. we hear her meowing and have seen her but everytime we try to get near her, she bolts. she must be scared stiff.
thanks all for thinking about us! i appreciate it!
i even cancelled my plans for the night. i'm too upset to go out.

cash78mere, i am so sorry to hear about your cat!
the same thing happened to my dog about a couple of months ago, i think i made a post about it too! atleast she has been spotted and you know she is around! I have always heard that cats know where their house is and even if they run away they always remember their way back!
good luck sweetie!

great news!!!
cookie is home safe and sound--just a little dirty and tired and she caught a cold from the rain we had last night.
my mom stayed up ALL night. at 5:30am she heard her crying again. cookie ran into the garage and my mom locked her in. she was still so frightened. my mom got her though!
cookie is so tired. but at least she is safe...and home!

Don't panic sister-she will most liklely stay around the house/neighborhood, might want to go get a trap though from the local shelter and put food in it. One of the Drs. here lost her cat for 2 months at the corner of a major intersection, anyways, she finally had to get a trap and 2 months later he was captured.
My thoughts are with you.

Thank goodness! I am so happy for all of you, but especially Cookie! I bet she won't be trying that again anytime soon.
I love happy endings!
