I don't remember Bret making a huge deal about it, but Lacy brought it up and it became a huge issue because of that. Remember, she told Bret that Heather would never quit stripping because if she wouldn't do it for her parents why would she do it for him? I think with Daisy no one knew she was a stripper until late in the season. If they did it wasn't mentioned on camera...so that could explain it.

According to Ambre's interview on VH1.com, she and Bret are still together - they're dating and just seeing where it all goes.
I liked her from the beginning so I am glad he picked her.

I love the part where Heather grabs Daisy's hair so she can keep on beating her in the head while Bret tries to separate them!
I guess the de La Hoya boxing skills didn't get that far along in Daisy's genes. 'Cause she SUCKS at a girlfight!

In the "Scenes That Didn't Make It" that aired during the finale: Was I the only one (besides Bret) that never suspected that Aubrey wanted to be WAY more than just Kristy Joe's friend? I thought Aubrey acted really odd, especially when she thought she made such a huge sacrifice by leaving - HA!, but I never suspected she had a girl-crush on Kristy Joe!

Yes, Oscar should be a little embarrassed at his niece's poor showing. Heather landed some solid shots on her noggin. Pretty stupid though, I can't imagine the lawsuit headed her way, you know Daisy's looking for a payday any way she can get it.

The "Lost Moments" episode aired last Thursday night. Bret was wondering why Aubrey would give up her spot at eliminations to Kristy Jo. She said, "I'll leave if you keep wonderful Kristy Jo" or something to that extent. Then they looked back at all of the tape from the show, and it turns out that she and Kristy Jo were very cuddly and close. They professed their love for each other. I believe Aubrey asked Kristy Jo to marry her. Little things that made it seem like they were having a "relationship" outside of the one with Bret.

From Bret's interview on MSN:
Will there be a "Rock of Love 3"?
I don't know ... We are looking to do a show called "Bret Michaels Big Rock Road Show" which is just rockers gone wild on the road. I never say never. Right now I am not mentally there. I am having fun doing it and I am thankful to the fans that made the show number one. The girls made the show great.
The full article is here http://tv.msn.com/tv/article.aspx?ne...5>1=BUZZSUB2 And it looks like Jes, from Season One, had a boyfriend the entire time, too!

Thanks for posting that link!
I KNEW all his hair wasn't real!!!
(from the article)
Quote:
What are you hiding under that bandanna?
My hair is combined of my hair and the finest extensions Europe has to offer. I do the show without it on all the time and they won't film me. They are like, "Put your bandanna back on. It is your image." It is my signature thing.
|
And I have to say, I'm a bit perplexed by his answer to the "Is this just a show for entertainment, or did you really go into this thinking that you were going to find true love?"
He said throughout the whole season that he was looking for his "rock of like, rock of lust, but most importantly, his rock of love"
Maybe this is b/c I don't understand or listen to his music, but if he is just looking to find someone who is cool that he likes that might turn into something later, why did he always emphasize he was looking for his "rock of LOOOOOVE"?

You're welcome
Honestly, there is no way that you are going to fall in love on a television show in such an unnatural set of circumstances. And really, he already has lots of "girlfriends" He still hangs out with Rodeo, Lacey and Heather. And as we saw in Season One, you can tell there are "benefits" to being friends with his Superfans (the girls who interviewed the finalists - when Brandi's hair caught on fire). I don't think he's lacking in the lust department! Maybe it is time for him to settle down with someone he "loves."

Just watched the reunion. I won't spoil anything for anyone, but it was quite anti-climactic for me.

I guess it was kinda anti-climatic, but at the same time I'm glad it ended that way. Let's hope there isn't a ROL:3.
I'm going to assume Angelique's had work done on her face (again), and I think she actually looked better.
The little vignette about Destiny's father made me a little teary-eyed. lol. Its real sad to hear what happened.

I would personally drive right on past anti-climatic and aim my vehicle towards downright boring.
With the exception, of course, of Daisy getting a bit of a thumping. Was Heather trying to pop Daisy's lips? I had mental images of them exploding like a balloon.
I was a bit surprised that even Bret got teary over the clips of Destiney's dad.... and a bit surprised that so many of the other girls were comforting her. Maybe they aren't quite as catty as they seem....
