I went to BODIES: The Exhibition when it was in Seattle a couple years ago and everyone there seemed to think it was fascinating. I didn't hear any "Ewwwwwwwww!"s, even from the kids that were there. It isn't gross - it's the way your body looks underneath your skin!

On the other hand, I thought the way they were displayed in the Body Works/Worlds exhibit in Casino Royale (around a poker table, etc.) was tacky and seemed to make a mockery of the human body.
