Isn't that the way things always work though? Take the military for example. Up until recently, people were only too happy to cut military spending, yet after 9/11, people are more like: "yeah, the US Military is gonna kick Osama's @ss!!" The military will always be there and will always do the same kick-@ss job they always do. The question is, will we always be there to support them? The same argument can be applied to our nation's leaders, both government and private sector, most of whom "incidently" just "happen" to be Greek (gee, I wonder why ). Now that the nation finally has a reason to support our (Greek) leaders, everyone's happy and the Greek Community is all of a sudden being portrayed in a more positive light. How long will this last? Who knows.
