I am slightly familiar with Greek Life system at USF, mostly because I am becoming involved in the St. Petersburg Panhellenic Alumnae group. I am not sure how competitive recruitment is there ( I actually went to UNF), but recs can be a plus at any school.
I would encourage you check with the Tampa, Clearwater, and St. Petersburg Panhellenic Alum groups as I am sure between the three of them there will be some sort of recruitment seminar for those interested. This might be a good way to get recommendations.
Something in the back of my mine is telling me that USF might be opening to expansion? Maybe twinkle555 or another from USF can clafiy this?
If that is the case, getting involved with colonizing and chartering a sorority is always something to consider.
