I'm coming through Texas this August on my way to National convention. We are driving to Albequerque in a route pillaging through the south on our way outwest. I think we are taking 40 into Amirillo, so if you live near by and yall got a yard we can pass out in, we outta throw back a couple.

Damn. While I was born and raised in Amarillo, I now live downstate...WAY downstate. About 8 hours downstate. (BTW, please dont see Amarillo as representative of Texas. Its not. Its just the leftovers that Oklahoma didnt want. How sad is that? I would be more than thrilled to offer your brood shelter and booze, but I am afraid you'd have to be on I-10, not I-40. Anytime you are in South Texas tho, you look me up. I have a suspicion that youd love Acuna, Mexico. Just a short 2 hours away, and like something outta a Jimmy Buffet song. Its where all the red-necks go to rip it up.
