It wouldn't work then. In a Jewish wedding, at the end of the ceremony, the groom steps on either a glass or a lightbulb to break it. There is a company that will take the shards and put them back together in a lucite cube so they look suspended. The cube is inscribed with their names, wedding date, whatever else you want.
