Just because they invited you to apply for the $100,000 card doesn't mean there's any way in hell they'd give to you. I've applied for platinum cards before, been approved, and got my card in the mail with a $1,000 credit limit. They decide what you actually get once you've applied, and then they might bump it up (the limit) over time if you build a good record with them.
