For someone who works at the University, I'd say t hat was pretty unprofessional to post that since it is not public knowledge.... almost as unprofessional as say, that PiPhi girl who came on here and posted "it's not final yet, but here's how my chapter voted!"

I get your point, but . . .
Is "professional" the right word to use if we don't really know it was an employee who posted it? Maybe we should go with immature, un-panhellenic, or in the cases of people revealing what was discussed in confidence at chapter, a violation of ritual.
We can be ridiculous is so many ways on GC that have nothing to do with what we do professionally.
Let's leave the unprofessional behavior to the professionals, like the folks at DePauw last year.

well considering that Bama Alumna mentioned she worked for the university, yea, I think I'd use the word 'unprofessional'. in addition to the other lovely words you pointed out.

As t*p mentioned, she said she was employed by UA in the link I posted. Granted, that post was from some time go, but still..
And I think you meant DePauw.

I did, and I even thought I typed it. I'm sorry for sullying the reputation of the fine institution of DePaul.

Reason: I can see that she was.

As a side note beyond all this I thought I'd throw in the pile the fact that Alpha Phi has also been selected to present at Georgia Tech along with Pi Phi and KD. The colonizing sorority will be announced in April. So if A Phi is chosen at Bama and Tech that will be a lot of strain on those local alums but also a much needed push into the south for them!

But on a different level, kind of a cool bond for those chapter to maybe share. Ga Tech is probably the easier campus to crack, IMO.

When deciding to apply at these schools Alpha Phi did so knowing we wanted to add chapters at these campuses in 2008 (or whatever the timeline is for the campus) We have the human resources in the form of volunteers and an outstanding paid professional staff to support these colonizations. We have developed proformas and financial outlooks to support these colonizations efforts running concurrently. It would be foolish of any NPC group to submit written presentations and not be well prepared to colonize! BRING IT ON!!
