The Tacori I found on the knot.com and when I clicked on the image, a pop up box appeared with a bigger image of the ring and little dollar signs $$$$ which by their research is more than $3000. I clicked on the link that was provided and on the Tacori website I couldn’t find a price. It depends on the retailer.

ETA
I couldnt find a price on the website for the Kobelli ring either which means it depends on the retailer again. I would just assume it's more than $1000 bucks if not way more.

^^If that's the case, I guess I can start looking at those $12,000 rocks.

I think that three month's salary is probably too much for someone to spend on a ring.
For example, say the man makes 50K (nice, round number), then wouldn't three month's salary be roughly 12K? A 12K ring is a sizable rock - with nice color and clarity too. I think that's too much to spend on a ring if he only makes 4K a month. Come on.

A friend spent 10K on his fiance's ring but he makes almost 200K a year (one month's salary). Another friend spent almost 30K on his fiance's ring - but again, he makes almost 200K a year (1.5 month's salary). But even these extravagant purchases are not 3 month's salary.

I think that I'd be scared to walk around with a 10K ring on everyday. Shucks, what if I lost it.... Yikes.
