Are your dating standards too high or too low?

As a woman, I don't even like fake stuff. I don't like fake nails, colored contacts (on men or women), weaves, fake eyelashes, (what I consider to be) excessive makeup, or fake body parts.

So I can understand why a man would find those things unattractive and would not want to date a woman with that stuff. I think people who need to doctor themselves up like that are fake on the outside and sometimes on the inside, too.

I don't wear anklets and don't see women wearing them often.

However, when I wear stilettos, I wear certain types of stilettos with certain types of outfits and to certain types of events. I think that PB just hasn't seen stylishly sophisticated women who don't confuse stilettos with hooker gear. Product of his environment? Perhaps.

I forgot to mention tatoos and body piercings. Ears only. Anywhere else is a deal breaker.

I love to wear flats but flats don't go with every outfit and with every event. Plus, the flyest librarians wear stilettos with pencil skirts.

I hinted at this earlier. I'm desperately seeking someone with the same level ambition. As for education, a bachelor's degree is fine. I'm three months away from getting my Master's, I usually attract those with community/career college educations (if I'm lucky). I consider my level of ambition to be average (perhaps realistic). I'm seeking a 9 to 5 job, and starting a small business on the side when I graduate. I attract those with really low ambition (doesn't mind working at a gas station forever) or those with really high ambition (wants to be come a professional athlete or musician). I don't consider my standards for education and ambition that high. What is going on?

Get out more. No, really. I can see not feeling comfortable with certain people as a group, that's pretty natural. But, it's not impossible to find someone as an individual from an different ethnic group that you feel comfortable with. Throwing out whole racial/ethnic groups really shrinks your dating pool.

But, they are rumored to be better in bed. I think someone with a nipple (or whatever) piercing would do more freaky things. I might be wrong though.

I find it funnny that I have naturally shoulder length hair and that some of the women that I have met had to go out and buy it......LOL

Uh...you might not have had "naturally" shoulder length hair if you didn't have dreds. I know a lot of women who couldn't grow their hair and wore weaves and wigs UNTIL they grew dreds.

It's also funny when men don't know when women are fake from head to toe. A woman can't be shockingly beautiful when you've never seen her in her raw beauty.
