Ok, so I watched the 15 minute preview. It's still going to be on the level of rediculous, but I think there is more depth to these women than OC. One of the women does annoy me already, but there are several that look interesting (i.e. the Countess by marriage). It's refreshing to see they have normal looking bodies too.

I found them to be obnoxious actually. The blond that is always embarrassing her daughter irritated me the most. I don't plan on watching this show. To me, it seems like these women are trying too hard to show up their West Coast counterparts.

I didn't like Vicki at all. I won't be surprised if Jeanna and Vicki's husband hooked up. And did you all think that Vicki's assistant looked alot like her after the makeover? I was like OMG Vicki is trying to clone herself

Quinn- I thought Billy was hot. I know she was looking for a commitment (after 3 months), but the way she kept whining about it annoyed the crap out of me. She just came off as needed and desparate

I agree with you completely on Quinn and Billy. If she wants to push for a commitment that soon, she would probably have better luck if she had a guy her own age. Frankly, if someone did that to me, I would run the other way.

Most often, three months is just too soon, but I'm not sure of her version of "commitment". To some, it means dating that person exclusively at present, for others, it means something more long-term. My California cousin and I always have a debate on the terminology of dating. To her, "dating" is something exclusive, for me it can mean you are seeing one or more persons.

I have thought the same thing about Jeanna and Don (Vicki's hubby). Vicki is always ordering him around and I would be embarrassed if a spouse of mine was drunk as often as she is and behaved the way that she does.

So how many people are watching "The Real Housewives of New York City?"

I soo agree with BDE, they seem that they are trying to upstage the O.C. ladies. I loove the O.C. ladies waaaaay more than the NYC ladies.


My observations....

Jill: Is it really THAT important to be front row @ New York Fashion week....at least you were there. P.S. that detox center didn't seem to do the trick for Ally

Ramona: Soo she says Jill doesn't act classy....well pot meet kettle. Ramona is the TRASHIEST person i've seen on either show. Nice to be at a model show & pretty much scream out that you think models are dumb.

Alex: She's trying too hard to fit in. Please stop wearing thong bikinis on national television...you CAN'T pull it off. Give your son a nickname or else he will get teased.

LuAnn: She's ok compared to the rest...I lol'd when I saw the preview that her kids had lice.

Bethenny: Probably my fave. I like that she's kinda anti- a lot of things the other ladies want. She seems the most down to earth.

Jill: Such a whiney girl. Boo hoo, Ramona didn't invite me to her cooking thing. What's wrong with me? I've been such a good friend to her. How dare she? Boo hoo, I have to sit 2nd row at an event during fashion week. How can I ever show my face around here again STFU and grow up.

Ramona: I think the only person I like is her daughter. The daughter seems to be the only sensible one on the show. Ramona also needs to STFU and grow up.

Alex: I like her. Her attachment to her husband and his attachment to her seem a little creepy. But she seems like a nice person. She does need to give the boys nicknames. Private school is just as harsh as public in terms of teasing

Luann: She's ok. Her poor maid though
