Pat Buchanan and Donald Rumsfeld's wives are Theta's as well as the co-founder of the Iowa Women's Caucus/1st female to chair the Republican National Committee (Mary Louise Epperson Smith).I could name several others who are Republican as well. U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill is a democrat however.
While the "famous" alums may seemingly be skewed in one direction politically, the membership as a whole is more than likely split evenly (atleast it was in my chapter).
