Presidential candidates' Greek connections
 

It would be interesting to learn the Greek connections of all of the candidates running for U. S. president. Here is what I have uncovered thus far.

Democrats:

Several have children who could be member of fraternities & sororities.

Mitt Romney's mother is/was a Chi Omega from Xi Alpha Chapter, University of Utah.

I just read an article on Jeri Thompson - she was a Pi Beta Phi at DePauw

Mike Huckabee was recently initiated into the Bond of Tau Kappa Epsilon, following his undergraduate son, I'm not certain of the college. I believe there was a recent article in The Teke magazine.

Hillary Clinton is an honorary member of the Alpha Beta Chi chapter of Alpha Phi Omega. Bill Clinton is an alum of the Mu Alpha chapter of APO. :D

Bill Clinton is also Kappa Kappa Psi Fraternity for Bandsmen

Huckabee was initiated through the Beta Psi chapter at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro either in Dec. '06 or this spring '07. The chapter closed at the end of the '06/'07 school year due to numbers. His son, David, is a TKE initiated at ASU.

Among John McCain's children there is no Greek connection.

Cate Edwards (John and Elizabeth Edwards' daughter) is a Pi Phi, too.

Hillary went to Wellesley, not Radcliffe. There are sorority-like local groups there, but I'm pretty sure we'd have heard about if she'd been a member.

John Edwards' daughter Cate was a Pi Phi at Princeton and is now at Harvard Law. I don't know which eating club she was in.
