I want to buy a trunk

Why they so expensive? Has anyone bought a trunk before? I was thinking I could get one from a military surplus place, but they seem expensive too.
I want something to keep my Alpha crap in that I don't need very frequently or don't wear anymore but want to keep in a safe place. You know, stuff I might pass down to sons or will to friends should something happen to me.
These seem to be least expensive so far.

But this looks nice.

Thoughts?
As a side note, it seems like every time I start a thread proclaiming I am going to buy something, I never do. Remember how I was gonna buy a new desktop computer? Yeah, bought a second external hard drive instead. I suck!

			Frat-
When I first went away to college, I got my trunk from Walmart, I don't know if D.C. has one of those. I payed only 20-30 bucks for it. It is black and looks just like these and it rolls.

But do you still have it or is it a piece of crap?
There are WalMarts nearby but I refuse to support them!

Are you looking for a storage trunk or a nice memory chest? You may want to consider a nice Cedarwood chest. I have one and it's a very nice piece of furniture too. It was a little expensive, but well worth it. I'll try to link some pages to you. I don't think you want to buy it from Wal-mart unless you're trying to store it for a short time.

It was quality and still looked new until I let my little sister have it a year ago.

			Hey R,
Look up "foot lockers." I think that's what you are wanting.

Some of these are pricey, but they are very functional and will last a long time. I have two and bought them from a furniture store. Here are the links:

If I run across anything else, I'll post.

 | I thought it was too, but I'm not sure it's big enough. I'll keep looking though.

When I went off to college I got my trunk from a military surplus store. It was much bigger than the small one my room mate had.
