I have a trunk from Target that I bought almost 13 years ago. I took it to summer camp. It is still being used now to store stuff. It is in good condition.

She did. I stored a ton of stuff in mine, so if you can find a surplus store check it out. I still have it. I like it, but it is too big for now. I do not need it for the same reasons I needed it for in a cramped dorm.

If you don't want anything fancy try checking out Bed, Bath, and Beyond or even Linens and Things. They often have them on sale in the summer for people going away to school and both of them send 20% off coupons in the mail at least once a month if you sign up for their mailing lists.

When I went away to college, I bought mine from KMart. I paid about $30 for it and it fell apart in less than a year. DON'T DO IT!
