I used always watch that show! My mom and I always wanted to go on it! We almost went to one of the auction houses in NYC when they were having an "open house" a few summers ago to appraise things. Except we didn't know the logistics of getting a samurai looking sward that we found in our old house on the subway, standing around on the street waiting to get in, etc.
Well, I broke down and made a donation to the local PBS station so I could be positive I would receive 2 tickets. If I happen to get some from the random drawing, then a couple of friends can go too.

Have any of you ever heard of Rick Seebak, who does PBS on various cities, sandwiches, markets - that sort of thing? He lives about a mile or two from me.
