Sorry, Soror, but the play was released in 1959. Don't tell me you didn't study the play "A Raisin In the Sun" in school? I know some districts were different, but that was a popular school selection that gave a realisistic protrayal of Lorraine Hainsberry's life and the life of most black Americans in the
general black experience in the '50s.
