It happens to me, sometimes. I have Rosacea, so when I drink alcohol I turn bright red. It is worse with wine than with anything else, which is probably the reason I'm not so much a fan, particularly with reds. I somtimes get itchy when I drink reds. The more I drink, of any type of alcohol, the redder I become.
