are you possibly the African-American girl at Indiana University who went through rush but didnt get a bid?
I heard a terrible story about how a black girl went through formal recruitment this winter and made it all the way to pref night with a house.
I heard that she was smart, pretty and the girls loved her personality. However, the house did not want to give her a bid because she was black.
I know this is true because one of my best friends is in the sorority (who I wont name, but it is NOT AGD) and when she heard the news, she deactived immediatly from disgust!
Now the IU chapter of Alpha Gamma Delta has had African-American members in the past...I know because I took many a composite in the my younger years
