Delta Gamma
(Info courtesy of ajuhdg's fabulous list in our forum.) Since the single-letter naming convention allowed a new chapter to use a closed chapter's letter, the ratio is up for interpretation. I would say 22/34.

Epsilon--Tennessee Tech University
Mu--Middle Tennessee State University
Nu--Georgia Institute of Technology
Omicron--Auburn University

Theta--West Virginia Institute of Technology
Iota--Western Michigan University
Kappa--Capital University
Lambda--University of Connecticut
Xi--University of North Alabama
Pi--Teikyo Post University
Omega--Rutgers University
All of those from Zeta to Kappa were established between 1974-1978...we apparently had some really lax expansion policies back then, and none of these chapters lasted very long at all. Omega was founded in 2000, and had closed already by the time I joined in Spring 2004.

This is accurate as of right now too.
And I'm curious, why doesn't AST have an Epsilon chapter?

We could also add Phi deuteron, Stanford (1892-1944, 1978-)
Our confusing Phi/Phi deuteron chapter history: Our Phi chapter was established at Univ. of the Pacific (then in San Jose) in 1889. The Phi chapter charter was transferred to Stanford in 1892. Stanford "outlawed" sororities in 1944. In 1959, a chapter was established at the new University of the Pacific in Stockton as Phi. When Theta was able to return to the Stanford campus in 1979, the re-established chapter was given the Phi deuteron (Phi the second) designation. Both Phi/UoP and Phi deuteron/Stanford still exist.
