Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but it doesn't seem like it was necessary to even bring up his affiliation. The incident appears to be non-fraternity related (ex. he didn't torture a pledge/NM with the cookies), so it just sounds like sensationalism.

If he's guilty, I hope he gets punished accordingly, but they should have been able to report this without bringing up the fact that he's a Kappa.
