I don't understand why, but people perceive this negatively.
You're presumably old enough to choose a screen name. You're old enough to accept the consequences.
If to you, it says "this is what I've wanted all my life" - keep it. If you get to school and find out it works against you, well, that's the chance you take.
Don't let others make up your mind for you. But be mighty sure you accept the possible consequences of what you do decide.
