^^^ We were probably posting at the same time, but yes, Frat is generally between members of the same organization and Frater is generally used in official NPHC settings.

But we can and do use Frater more formally, and did much more so in the past.

Interesting. So frater is sorta like the D4 saying sistergreek?

I think so. Not as common in informal practice. Moreso like on programs at NPHC events in my area.

thats true, but me personally, if you're not a Zeta or a Sigma, or i dont know you personally, i'ma call you Greek.
